This
Standard Letter Page 1 - (75k),
Page2 - (25k) from Blaby District Council,
was sent to all residents who had previously written to pass comment on (either
supporting or objecting to) the original planning application. It describes briefly
the appeal process and how any interested parties may make further comment, should
they wish to do so. For anyone who hasn't already, and wishes to do so,
you still have time to make your comments about this application by sending a
letter direct to the appeals inspectorate, or by making your comment online. A
guideline letter can be found HERE
(text) or HERE (MS Word
- 25k) for your convenience. For anyone who has already objected to this
application, you may re-affirm your concerns in the same way. The greater number
of people that object to this and/or re-affirm their concerns, the greater is
the chance of having this case refused. Please Don't Forget : THIS
CASE COULD SET A PRECENDENT FOR MORE APPLICATIONS OF THIS TYPE, AND COULD HAPPEN
ANYWHERE NEAR YOUR HOME. Please take a few minutes to add your name
and address to a copy of our sample letter, or better still, compose one of your
own. There is no limit to the age, or number of people from any household, who
are allowed to object, or make other comment. You don't even have to live nearby
(or even in LFE for that matter). We would urge everyone to support this action
and send comments individually wherever possible.
Or if you prefer, as
you have Internet access you can register your comment online very easily, by
visiting:- www.planningportal.gov.uk/pcs or simply go straight to
this page: http://www.pcs.planningportal.gov.uk/pcsportal/casesearch.asp
and search for appeal no. APP/T2405/A/07/2038548 When found,
click the Case Ref: link to open the Case Summary page for the appeal. At
the foot of the page, under 'Documents', you will find a link marked Click here
.
This will open a new window containing another link marked Comment on this case.
Clicking this link will open an online form into which you can type (or paste)
your comments, or attach a document with your pre-prepared comments. If
you choose to send your comments by post, the inspectorate has asked for three
copies of each letter of comment. Please send these to:- The Planning Inspectorate 3
/ 01 Kite Wing, Temple Quay House 2, The Square Temple Quay Bristol
BS1 6PN NB: The online method of submitting comments obviously only requires
1 copy. The deadline for submitting comments on the above
appeal is 9th April 2007. Please Note: That this is Easter Monday,
so we would suggest that any normal letters should be posted by Wednesday 4th
April at the very latest.
But why delay - Do it today : Volunteers
will be distributing copies of this sample letter, along with a brief description
of the appeal comment process, shortly, to addresses in the near vicinity. If
you can offer any help with this task, please contact the Admin of this site as
soon as possible. We would be most grateful to hear from you. Thank
you for taking the time to read this information. |
