Third round of the Senior cup and Forest hosted Sleaford, a team we didn't know much about. The home team where still buzzing after their hard fought win away at Leighton Buzzard and there seemed to be a lack of concentration.

Forest started well with the forwards working hard to give the backs quick ball. The backs delivered with a fine try on the wing finished by Glynn Johnson. From the kickoff Forest attacked again and blew what seemed to be three easy tries with some outrageous last passes that didn't even need to be played.

Twenty minutes in Dylan Daniel turned up the gas and scored a good try.

Forest from here went into cloud cuckoo land with silly penalties and we were playing as individuals instead of a team. Sleaford took advantage and went into the halftime break down 12 -5.

After a rev up by the coach at half time Forest came out, took control and scored three good tries. The last 20 minutes turned into chaos with 2 yellow cards and not much concentration which saw Sleaford score two more tries.

In all a win is a win but if we play like that away at casuals we'll come off second best!!
